Josie trained at the Aveda Institute in Calgary, where she built a strong foundation in women’s hair and color. After several amazing years in the industry, she took some time off to grow her family. In 2020, she returned to the chair at Spruce Salon, refreshed, inspired, and more passionate than ever!

How She Spends Her Free Time

When she’s not behind the chair, Josie loves spending time with her two amazing kids, experimenting with new recipes, or sweating it out at Oxygen Yoga.

Favourite Movie/TV Show

She’s a sucker for a good drama or anything based on a true story. Ted Lasso and Shrinking (Harrison Ford alert!) are her go-tos—so much heart, humor, and depth in one binge.

Favourite Music

Josie is big on house music and indie pop—the vibe has to be good. Country? Not her jam, sorry not sorry.

Black coffee all the way… unless it’s iced. Then an iced coffee that isn’t too sweet is her golden ticket.
