Samantha Luchak

I’ve been part of the hair industry since 2016, starting out as work experience in high school which lead to being a receptionist and apprentice where I assisted senior stylists with colour applications, shampooing, and blowouts. In 2018, I attended Blanche MacDonald Centre to further my education and refine my craft.

Since graduating, I’ve been behind the chair building my skills and experience. After taking a year off to focus on my health, I’m feeling better than ever and so excited to be back doing what I love.

I previously worked at Bloom the sister salon to Spruce and I’m thrilled to now be part of the team here.

Favourite service

My favourite service to perform is haircuts. Especially shags and layered cuts. I also love creating lived-in colour through highlights and balayage. There’s nothing better than giving someone a cut or colour that makes them feel like their best self.

How I spend my free time 

Outside of the salon, you’ll usually find me reading, playing pool, or learning how to play the drums!

Favourite Movie/TV show 

The entire The Lord of the Rings trilogy — always.

I also really enjoy the Fallout TV show too! 

Comfort Movie/TV show 

Jersey Shore! It’s ridiculous but I love it 

Favourite Musician/Band 

It’s a toss-up between The Smashing Pumpkins and Janes Addiction

Coffee/tea order 

A lavender latte or a chai tea latte.
